Try your hand at Islamic calligraphy and learn its history
Islamic calligraphy has long been admired for its beautiful form and line work. As an art form it actually includes various other types of calligraphy including Arabic, Persian and Ottoman.
In this course you’ll learn and practice basic lettering by completing a series of basic writing exercises. You will also learn about the writing tools used in Islamic calligraphy. By practicing and exploring the history of Islamic calligraphy you will develop a greater understanding and appreciation for this striking art form.

By practicing and exploring the history of Islamic calligraphy, I have gained a greater understanding and appreciation of this amazing art form.
This course guides us to Islamic calligraphy by completing a series of basic writing exercises to learn and practice the basic alphabet. I also learned about the writing tools used in Islamic calligraphy. It's a really practical lesson.
Through this course I was introduced to Islamic calligraphy which is famous for its beautiful form and lines. Better known as an art form, it actually includes various other types of calligraphy, including Arabic, Persian, and Ottoman. I really learned a lot of knowledge that I like.
The course details islamic calligraphy and the study of its history, its history is really interesting and the course is also interesting.

Requirements
- To take part in this course you will need a basic set of suitable pen for calligraphy, bamboo, knife, ink, inkwell and 120 gm glossy papers.
