Public-Private Alliance Called ‘Merger Alternative’

The Alzheimer’s Association, as part of its “Caregiver Training” for family caregivers, offers “Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body” class online Friday, Oct. 23.

The class will cover what you can do to maintain brain health. It will be looking at the research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

This Kaua‘i-based program is at 2 p.m. Register for the class any time of the day or night at tinyurl.comly22f3p3m or call (800) 272-3900 to reserve space.

All are invited to attend all the Alzheimer’s Association online classes that are part of its “Caregiver Training” for family caregivers.

These classes are being presented online from now through December on the last Friday of every month from 2 to 3:30 p.m., with bonus classes announced each month.

As every class is a complete treatment of each subject area, participants may register for just one class or the entire series.
